Problem we solved
As per WHO reports, 1 out of every 5 people fail to remain fit due to poor app features or app awareness. Our approach to this problem was to offer a best-in-class digital experience combined with at-home fitness products.
Flexnest is compatible with various devices and fitness tools such as weighing scales, e-bikes, treadmills to name a few. This app is available for both android users and iOS users.
Major Challenges
- Ensuring Best-in-class user experience for at home gym fitness
- Integrating different BLE devices and 3rd party health APIs with the application
- Implementing real time animations and video playbacks for fitness activities
Process
Design
Designed a step-by-step guided workout feature with short instructional videos, ensuring users could easily follow and complete exercises.
Integrated virtual running experiences (e.g., a track in Amsterdam) that synced video playback speed with treadmill activity. This feature allowed users to connect their devices to treadmills, creating a real-world simulation of running outdoors.
Emphasized ease of use, seamless navigation, and visually engaging content to drive user engagement and retention.
Create Motivation
Addressed the challenge of motivating users to stay active at home by creating a fully gamified fitness app experience.
Personal Customisation
Developed an interactive onboarding process that collected user vitals and personalized workout recommendations, setting the stage for a customized fitness journey.
