Can you imagine that there are over 8000 sports worldwide, out of which roughly around 200 sports have an international cognizance?
Shocking, isn’t it?
Well, the prime reasons behind these uneven counts are:
Lack of sports awareness –
People may not know what sports are available in their area or what organizations offer recreational activities. Additionally, people may not know how to get involved in sports or understand the benefits of participating. Hence, educating people about the various sports and activities available to them is important.
Lack of sports social networking –
Another reason people don’t participate in sports is a lack of social networking. People may not have access to information about sports as those who are more connected to the sports world. Additionally, people may not have similar information about sports teams, channels, applications, and platforms that offer them to be a part of live sports banter.
Even though there are over 4 million fans worldwide, not everyone has a good financial bump to be a part of the elite and well-known sports debate channels.

Here are some of the global sports market facts that may spike your interest:
- Statista Research and Reports shows that the Global Sports Industry is expected to earn around 707.84 billion U.S. dollars in 2026, with a CAGR growing to almost 9% from 2022-2026.
- Over 41% of global sports fans stream live sports via digital platforms and prefer to give their opinions and participate in live sports conversations.
- According to a recent Statista survey, 70% of the U.S. population are sports fans.
- The sports sponsorship segment is estimated to boom to $282,962.2 million by 2031.

From the above data, it is possible to predict that social sports debate applications have become a lucrative topic for everyone to discuss.
Undoubtedly, many companies aim to get ahead in promoting sports discussions, live games and promoting online social engagement platforms for various sports.

LiveTake Product Journey with Hie HQ
Developing a sports debate app that could accommodate millions of users worldwide was one of the major application challenges to conquer.
There were endless discussions and blueprints mapped out before creating the final module of the fantasy sports application.
But the biggest challenge was to develop a module that offered glitch-free videos and audio experiences for the end users. Not all users have the same video and audio hardware configurations. For example, some people might have high-end systems that can handle high-quality videos and sound, while others might only be able to use lower-quality videos or sound. So we had to develop a sports application that could work on any system, regardless of its capabilities.
Here is what our development stages looked like:
Research
We bounced on many ideas, ran endless sessions of mind mapping and brainstorming, kept an eye on the brand guidelines, explored, analyzed the problem space, and came up with a technical concept and roadmap that could be implemented for developing LiveTake’s module.
Development
We were intensely focused on building a robust foundation for LiveTake’s application that promised a fast execution time and scalability. That’s why we were very particular about our tech stack. Our tech stacks popular technologies such as Swift, Node, React, and AWS. We firmly believe these technologies are necessary for an ascendable and efficient application.
Testing
We wanted to set a seal on the fact that LiveTake’s application worked flawlessly. Therefore, we considered the testing phase as an essential indicator. It was the final step in the application development process and involved finding and fixing bugs or issues with the product and ensuring that it met the end-user requirements.
The entire process of developing LiveTake’s module surged up to 16 weeks. Apart from co-building the product within a limited timeframe, we ensured that all our efforts exceeded our client’s expectations.
